You know the drill by now. Last week was good, but that was then and this is now.
OVERALL RECORD: 12-1-1
North Rockland at Clarkstown South, 4:30 p.m.
Pick: Clarkstown South, 3-2. This is a tough one. Both teams have had very similar results this season. I’ll give to the edge to the Vikings since they’re at home.
Bronxville at Eastchester, 4:30 p.m.
Pick: Bronxville, 2-0. The Eagles got a big league win at Edgemont last week. Still, I think this is Bronxville’s league to lose. Advantage Broncos.
Briarcliff at Ossining, 4:30 p.m.
Pick: Briarcliff, 3-2. Ossining had a couple of nice wins this past week, but I’ve been very impressed with the Bears’ offense. Lots of scrappy players up top.
John Jay at Yorktown, 4:15 p.m.
Pick: Yorktown, 4-1. Nothing like a nice rivalry, eh? Huskers with a solid week, making it to the final of their own tournament before they met the bandsaw that is Somers. I’ll give the advantage over the Indians.
Rye at Harrison, 7 p.m.
Pick: Rye, 1-0. Speaking of rivalries… Seems like the Garnets should win this one, but the fact it’s at night in Harrison could spell trouble for Rye. Add in the fact that these schools have history, and you might as well just flip a coin.
