I will be covering the North Salem-Panas game at Panas today at 4:30 p.m. The last time these league rivals squared off, the Tigers defeated the Panthers 5-4 in late September. North Salem’s Brenna Brown had a hat trick in that game. Kayla Moore had two goals for Panas.
Panas is coming off an encouraging 2-2 tie with powerhouse John Jay Monday. A few weeks ago, North Salem also tied the Indians 3-3 in a game shortened by the weather conditions.
Brown, Noemie Bechu and Camilla Fay lead the way for the Tigers. Moore and Rachel Myers lead the way for Panas.
I see another high-scoring game from these two teams, with North Salem coming out on top by one goal again.
Prediction: North Salem 4, Panas 3
Here are the rest of the games with my predictions in bold:
North Rockland at Suffern
Lakeland at Peekskill
Lourdes at Mahopac
Putnam Valley at Briarcliff
Scarsdale B at Solomon Schechter

Is panas out of sectionals if they lose?
Briarcliff – 4 Putnam Valley – 0 – Briarcliff went up 4-0 early and showed good sportsmanship by playing a posession game with their reserves after the 4th goal for the remainder of the game…
That’s way out of character for Scully. He almost always runs up the score on weak opponents. That’s why everyone loves it when he loses!
